It began with a simple act of friendship
Our story began with a simple act of friendship: one of our founders, who grew up fishing, taught the other founder the techniques and joy of fishing close to home. From there, they now regularly enjoy fly, salt, surf, and freshwater fishing as two families with growing children who, of course, love to fish too!
Over the years, this recreational hobby turned into a shared mission. We realized that there were so many families out there eager to introduce their kids to fishing, but the learning curve could feel daunting—cheap toy rods that tangle, confusing gear aisles, and missing accessories that cut lake trips short.
That's when we decided to make it easier: by offering high-quality, storage-friendly telescoping rods, proper tackle, and clear beginner guides that remove frustration for parents and kids alike.

A Friendship by the Water
