Easy to use and store! Net and pliers helpful so we didn't have to touch the fish.

Amazing set for a young angler with quality parts

She has had a frozen fishing rod since she started at the age of 3, but has since outgrown Frozen, and the reel gets caught all the time, so casting is limited. This fishing rod is hands and feet above the old rod in that it has a much better reel that is smooth in action and easy to press for newer anglers. It also is telescoping which is the best part as it is much more compact than the last one but extends over twice as long to feel the fish and see bites much better. My daughter loves having her own "tackle" as it comes with bobbers, hooks, and some weights. Finally it comes with a collapsible net that is a good size and pliers to remove hooks and hold the fish. She feels like she is a professional angler now with all the tools. I have had zero tangles in the reel so far, and it has a smooth action when reeling in. Everything seems very well made and durable. I have since ordered a similar pole with a baitcaster reel for myself because I was impressed with this setup.

From the moment we opened it, my kid was so excited to see everything neatly packed in the tackle box, and it really makes fishing feel like a real adventure. The fishing rod is lightweight and easy for little hands to handle, and the whole set feels durable enough to last through countless trips to the pond or lake. I especially love that it comes with a net and pliers for easy hook removal and release. It makes the whole experience much safer and less stressful for both kids and adults. My child has been learning how to cast and reel in, and it’s so rewarding to watch them get the hang of it. Overall, this kit takes all the guesswork out of starting fishing for little ones. It’s simple to use, well-made, and fun, and it really encourages kids to get outside and explore nature. We’ve had so many happy moments already with this set, and it’s become a favorite for family outings. It includes everything you need as well and explains most things in good detail. As a mother who's only experience fishing was from when I was a smaller child like my son I was excited to learn as well. My son loved the feel of the fishing pole and he also got the hang of it really quickly!! The net is amazing quality, I mean everything truly is! What a great kit and carrying case for it all too as it is compacted down for easy travel! It's a really great value for how nice everything is and how much you are getting!

But I was excited for this fishing pole and tackle box kit. I am having my son teach me how to fish and this kit is working wonderfully for me. It includes everything needed, small weights, hooks, pliers, a net- everything. It all fits perfectly in a small carrying bag which is nice for when you arrive to your fishing location, there isn't a lot to carry, just a small put together bag. I personally think this would be great for any kid- young or old- to learn how to fish with. I'm having a lot of fun using it and think others will too.

A handy little fishing combo for kids and adults alike.
This is a great little fishing pole kit for kids. We started with a little spider man fishing pole for our son and it was honestly very frustrating to use because the reel didn’t release reliably. We started with a little spider man fishing pole for our son and it was honestly very frustrating to use because the reel didn’t release reliably. The reel on this kit works really well and you can actually cast with it. I also really like that it’s made of aluminum and telescopes down to pack away nicely. This not only makes transporting it very handy but also makes it a lot more durable when inevitably it’s mishandled by my youngster. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the design of this. The kit has everything you need to fish with worms off the dock. There’s even a handy little net and a surprisingly good quality pliers for taking fish off the hook. The pliers is way nicer than what I have in my tackle box. If you’re looking for a good quality fishing combo to start off any youngster, I don’t think you can beat the quality of this kit for the price point. If you’re a fishing novice, this kit will make fishing a lot less intimidating for both you and your child.

My son has been asking me for a fishing rod but I have been hesitant since I didn’t know much about fishing. This set showed up on time and it has everything that I was looking for. The rod is very high quality, lightweight , extendable and very portable. Right out of the box it feels durable, solid and premium. The size is perfect for kids. Its not too small and not too big. It definitely not a toy, it’s a real fishing rod with hooks and bag. The bag is very premium and good size. The net is also good material and easy to pack. Im not super impressed about the hooks since they are very basic but I guess they serve the purpose and suitable for kids. Overall quality is very good but number of accessories that you get is limited. Overall this is a good value for kids fishing rod.

Perfect little fishing kit for making memories with the grandkids

This set checks all of those boxes. Right out of the box, everything feels thoughtfully put together, and I really liked the included card explaining the company and owners. It’s a small touch, but a nice one. The rod is telescopic, which makes it great for travel and storage, and it opens quickly and easily when you’re ready to use it. Once extended, it’s a great length for kids and feels sturdy without being heavy. The reel is smooth, easy to cast, and easy for little hands to manage, which helps keep frustration low when they’re learning. Everything is ready to go within minutes of opening the bag. The storage bag is excellent quality, with everything fitting neatly inside and Velcro straps to keep it secure. The net extends to a really nice size and works well for freshwater fish, and the included tackle box has a good starter selection of hooks and bobbers. The pliers and net make hook removal and release easier under adult supervision. This is a fun, well-made starter set that makes it easy to get kids outside, learning, and enjoying time on the water together.
